Crime - Woman sets fire to mixture in front of police station

A 41-year-old woman set fire to a mixture at the police station in Eisenach (Wartburgkreis). She was arrested by the police shortly thereafter, according to their statement. At first, it was unclear what the substance was. According to reports, she set fire to something and caused damage in the entrance area of the station. The woman fled on foot.

During the subsequent search, police arrested the woman temporarily. A helicopter and a search dog were also used. No one was injured. The motive for the crime is still unclear. The 41-year-old woman is being investigated for attempted arson with serious damage.

The incident took place in the police station located in Eisenach, which is part of the Wartburg district in Thuringia. The woman's actions led to fires breaking out in the entrance area of the station. Authorities are currently investigating the case in the Wartburg district's criminal investigation unit.
