A 66-year-old woman has been fatally injured in a head-on collision near Korbach (Waldeck-Frankenberg district). According to police reports on Saturday, a 56-year-old man drove his car into oncoming traffic on a right-hand bend on Friday and collided head-on with the 66-year-old woman's car. The woman later died in hospital. The 56-year-old was also seriously injured in the accident. The cars were totaled. The road was closed for around four hours. The police have begun investigating the cause of the accident.
