Accidents - Woman hit at crosswalk: Seriously injured
A woman has been critically injured after being hit by a car on a crosswalk in Berlin-Friedrichsfelde. After the head-on collision, the 65-year-old was thrown several meters through the air, as the police reported on Saturday. She suffered serious head injuries in the incident on Friday afternoon. Rescue workers reportedly took the woman to an intensive care unit where she was resuscitated. The 28-year-old driver was uninjured. Whether one of the two road users overlooked a red light is part of the investigation.
