Woman forgotten in changing room and locked in store
It was a little too much peace and quiet while trying on clothes - a woman was accidentally locked in a store in Michelfeld (Schwäbisch Hall district) while she was still in the changing room. As the police reported on Tuesday, the store staff had finished work on Monday and did not have the customer in the changing room on their radar. They switched off the lights and locked up. The woman then went into the shop window to draw attention to her predicament, according to a police spokesperson. Security noticed the customer a short time later and called the police. She was let out of the store shortly afterwards.
The store staff should have checked the changing rooms before leaving, as a woman was facing an emergency by being locked inside. Upon noticing the situation, security contacted the police to handle the emergency and ensure the woman's safe release.
