Hohenlohe district - Woman fatally injured in icy road accident with bus
A woman was fatally injured when a bus collided with a car on a slippery road north-east of Heilbronn. The bus had crossed into oncoming traffic near Zweiflingen, presumably due to the icy conditions, and collided with the car, police said on Monday. The car was flipped by the impact. It ended up on its roof. The driver was ejected and injured so badly that she died at the scene of the accident. According to the police, the bus driver was slightly injured. There were reportedly no other people on the bus. The accident on Monday afternoon caused property damage of around 15,000 euros.
