Woman driving with a blood alcohol level of almost three

A drunk driver drove in serpentine lines through Hanstedt in the district of Harburg. Witnesses had reported the woman because she kept driving into the oncoming lane, as the police reported on Sunday. Several cars had to avoid the 55-year-old.

A traffic participant held the woman finally. The called police conducted a breath alcohol test on her - with a result of 2.78 Promille. Subsequently, a blood sample was taken from her, her driver's license was confiscated, and a legal proceedings were initiated.

On Sunday, the incident occurred in the Harburg district of Lower Saxony. The woman, involved in a traffic incident, was held by another participant. The police, responding to the call, administered a breath alcohol test, resulting in a reading of 2.78 Promille. A serpentine line of onlookers formed as they awaited the further proceedings.
