Traffic - Woman drives away from the police in an unregistered car
A woman in Villingen-Schwenningen (Schwarzwald-Baar district) drove away from several police patrols in her unregistered car. As the police reported on Thursday, the 53-year-old and two passengers were finally stopped in Vöhrenbach, west of Villingen.
A 40-year-old man resisted, hit the police officers and slightly injured an officer's hand, the police reported. The man is being investigated for resisting law enforcement officers. The 53-year-old woman will now have to answer to criminal proceedings, including for driving without a vehicle registration.
The woman's car was first noticed at a petrol station on Wednesday. The 53-year-old then drove off and did not react to the officers' signals to stop. She was stopped for the first time, but then continued her journey. After several patrols were deployed, the woman was then stopped for the second time.
