In Velpke, near Helmstedt, an old woman of 75 years crashed her car into a tree in Oebisfelde, Sachsen-Anhalt, resulting in her demise. Police confirmed on Monday evening, in Magdeburg, that she had veered off the road for some unknown reason, drove over the curb before the incident, and passed away at the accident site despite attempts to resuscitate her. It's possible there could've been an underlying medical issue prior to the Monday morning accident, they added.
