Shared accommodation - Woman attacked in bed with knife and seriously injured
A woman in Neuenbürg (Enzkreis) was attacked and severely injured by her partner in bed with a knife. The 58-year-old man is also reported to have coerced her. According to the latest information, he attacked her in a shared accommodation and tried to kill her, as a police spokesperson stated on Thursday. The 53-year-old woman is not in critical condition. She was taken to a clinic.
The police arrested the Polish man without resistance in his room. They had been in a relationship for a longer period of time, according to the reports. The motives for the crime are currently unclear, it was stated.
A witness, a resident of the same accommodation, reported the crime at the local police station on Tuesday. The 58-year-old man was presented to the magistrate on Wednesday. He confessed to the crime. He has been in investigative detention since then.
