Wolfsburg secures Dutch footballer Beerensteyn
Wolfsburg Bundesliga side officially signs Dutch European champion Lineth Beerensteyn from Juventus, Italian runners-up. The club announced the news on Monday, disclosing that the 27-year-old attacker has secured a two-year deal. From 2017 to 2022, she clocked 129 appearances for Bayern Munich, Wolfsburg's longstanding rivals.
Ralf Kellermann, Women's Football Director, praised her as a speedy and dynamic offensive player who is a threat both upfront and on the wings. Beerensteyn, boasting a cap of 106 for the national team, was the U19 European champion in 2014 and later clinched the EM title with the senior national squad in 2017.
