Without Werner: RB Leipzig hot for revenge against Wolfsburg
Without national team player Timo Werner, who is injured again, RB Leipzig want to take revenge for their DFB Cup defeat at VfL Wolfsburg. "That hurt. We want to do better," said RB coach Marco Rose ahead of this Saturday's Bundesliga match (3.30pm/Sky) at the Lower Saxony club. Werner is missing the fourth-placed team in the table due to adductor problems; the attacker had already missed two games in September through injury. Leipzig have won each of their last three Bundesliga duels with VfL without conceding a goal. Wolfsburg have been waiting for a win in the league since September.
Despite Timo Werner's absence due to adductor problems, RB Leipzig aim to avenge their DFB Cup loss against VfL Wolfsburg in their upcoming Bundesliga clash. In their last three league meetings, Leipzig have emerged victorious against Wolfsburg, without conceding a single goal.
