Dortmund - With 195 kilos of drugs in the car at a yellow light: imprisonment

His driving style was the undoing of a suspected drug transporter: At around 5.40 a.m. in Dortmund, he drove through yellow traffic lights twice in quick succession, attracting the attention of a police patrol. The officers stopped the 28-year-old, as the police reported on Thursday. They found 19 large plastic bags filled to the brim with marijuana - a total of 195 kilograms - in the cargo area of his van behind the cardboard-covered windows. On top of that, the man had apparently taken cocaine according to a preliminary drug test.

Following the incident on Tuesday, the man was brought before a magistrate and is now in custody, according to the press release.
