Winter sports season on Wasserkuppe starts Saturday

Skiing and sledging fun in the snow: the winter sports season begins this Saturday on Hesse's highest mountain. With a view of the Wasserkuppe (950 meters) in the Rhön, the operating company announced on Thursday: "Perfect slope conditions prevail." The lifts will run from 9.30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and from 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday - with floodlights in the evening. There is also a ski rental service. Sledgers can use the "Wie-Li" lift. According to the operating company, the lifts will also run on weekdays after this weekend, depending on the current weather. It is advisable to always take a look at the website ski-und-rodelarena-wasserkuppe.de before going on a trip with skis and toboggans.

During leisure time, many people enjoy the thrill of tourism in the winter sports season. The favorable weather conditions make this Saturday an ideal day to begin your skiing and sledging adventures on Wasserkuppe.
