Traffic accidents - Winter roads: Four accidents in one place
Seven vehicles crashed at one point on the B96 near Blumenholz (Mecklenburg Lake District) due to icy roads. According to the police, a 37-year-old man was taken to hospital for examination. The total damage to property amounted to around 30,000 euros.
According to the information, a 74-year-old man first left the road in his car on Thursday and crashed into a crash barrier. This resulted in three collisions with the following and oncoming vehicles, which tried to avoid the accident.
A 68-year-old rear-ended the 37-year-old, who was slightly injured. In the same direction of travel, the cars of two 76-year-olds also collided. In oncoming traffic, a 47-year-old man crashed his car into the van of a 51-year-old man. Four of the vehicles were subsequently no longer roadworthy and had to be towed away.
