In the UNESCO biosphere reserve, the Swabian Alb boasts 27 high-quality hiking trails with a total length of 267 kilometers.

Ten premium circular hiking routes around Albstadt are also known as so-called ledge trails. The reason for this is that they follow the edge of the Swabian Alb.

2. Black Forest - Schwarzwald, Baden-Württemberg

The Black Forest transforms into a winter fairy tale when it snows. Many trails lead through romantic snow-covered pine forests in the northern Black Forest. Particularly beautiful is an excursion through the elevated marshy terrain of Kaltenbronn.

It is located at an altitude of over 900 meters above sea level and has been under protection for more than 60 years. This place will not leave anyone indifferent.

3. Swabia, Bavaria

In the area of Aichach-Friedberg, in the present-day region of Swabia, there is the idyllic pilgrimage site of Herghottsrue. The pilgrimage route of Herghottsrue encircles the pilgrimage church of the same name.
