Unclear situation - Window shots in Elmshorn: police send large contingent
From the window of an apartment in Elmshorn, in Pinneberg district, there have been multiple shootings reported - at least that's what a witness told the police, who arrived with a large contingent. Initially, there was no information available about the background, the operation was still ongoing, the Elmshorn police headquarters north of Hamburg reported in the evening. According to the findings, however, no one was injured.
A total of 13 patrol car teams and additional special forces were involved in the operation. The Federal Police also provided support. The streets around the incident site were temporarily closed - including the B431, which leads from Elmshorn to Glückstadt.
The police mobilized a large contingent from Elmshorn to tackle the shootings reported in the Pinneberg district. Despite the intense operation, no injuries were reported, according to preliminary findings. The incident caused temporary closures on the B431, leading from Elmshorn towards Glückstadt.
