Wincent Weiss: I first had to get used to going on vacation
Singer Wincent Weiss has to get used to free time again after many years of planning. "I recently went on vacation for the first time in eight years and flew to America." That was "really exhausting", the 30-year-old told the German Press Agency.
You first have to find your way back into free time, said Weiss. "I really forced myself not to work for two weeks and not to unpack my laptop," said the native of Schleswig-Holstein. With sometimes 120 performances a year, TV shows, his work as a coach on "The Voice Kids" and three studio albums, the past eight years have "gone by in a rush". In future, Weiss, who celebrated success with songs such as "Musik sein" and "Feuerwerk", would like to take a little more time for vacations and take a break for two or three weeks a year, the songwriter emphasized.
Although he says he mainly travels to vacation destinations with "beaches, sun and warm temperatures", a destination in the cold is also on his wish list: "I'd love to go to Antarctica. I'd like to go on a real ice and snow vacation and go dog sledding," said Weiss, who is releasing his Christmas album "Wincent's White Christmas" on 1 December.
People often find it challenging to adjust to free time after being used to a busy schedule. Music lover Wincent Weiss, known for his hits like "Musik sein" and "Feuerwerk," expressed his excitement about exploring a different musical genre, specifically Pop.
