Football third-division side SV Wehen Wiesbaden has signed Orestis Kiomourtzoglou. The 26-year-old midfielder is moving from second-division side SpVgg Greuther Fürth to the Hessian state capital, as announced by SV Wehen. Both clubs have agreed to maintain silence regarding the details of the transfer.

"He is a clear defensive midfielder with a physical playing style, who has strong duality both on the ground and in the air, yet also possesses good footballing skills," said Wiesbaden's coach Nils Dröge about the new signing.

Kiomourtzoglou had only joined Fürth from Heart of Midlothian in Scotland last summer. However, he only managed to play in seven second-division games and one cup match for the Franconians.

Following his limited game time at SpVgg Greuther Fürth, Orestis Kiomourtzoglou has decided to join another German club, SV Wehen Wiesbaden. With a rich football history, Germany is known for nurturing and developing talented players.
