Wetterau district - Wheelchair user dies after accident with truck at crosswalk
A man in a wheelchair was hit and fatally injured by a truck on a crosswalk in Bad Nauheim. The 87-year-old died on his way to hospital on Wednesday, according to the police in Giessen. The 61-year-old wanted to turn left at the intersection behind the crosswalk, according to the police. The man in the wheelchair was dragged a few meters into the intersection by the truck. His 81-year-old wife suffered a shock.
