Bundesliga - Wetzlar handball players bring two home-grown players into the squad

Handball Bundesligist HSG Wetzlar has admitted two talents from its own youth team into the first team squad. As the Mittelhessen announced on Friday, Tizian Weimer and Noel Hoepfner will wear the jersey of the first division team from now on. Both are top performers of the U23 team and recommended themselves through their performances in the 3. Liga.

"We have observed the development and work of Tizian and Noel at the U23 for the past two years and recognized the potential that lies in them," said Jasmin Camdzic, sports leader of Wetzlar. Despite all the hard work still ahead, the nomination is a sign that we have faith in them and that they can make the leap to the Bundesliga.
