Westphalia-North Rhein boosts assistance for Ukraine. Euroside Minister of Foreign Affairs Nat Liminski (CDU) assured the association Cross-Blue-Yellow an extra 222,000 euros for power sources, as he proclaimed at a gathering in Cologne.

As part of the local alliance with the Dnipro area, the focus is on bolstering and renovating the energy system with winter in sight. To attain this, a consignment of integrated heat and power generators and robust engines is being readied, the minister specified.

In observance of Ukraine's Independence Day, events were slated in several Westphalia-North Rhein cities. The slogan "Resolutely back Ukraine and shield a liberated Europe" inspired around 1,000 to 1,500 individuals assembling in Cologne, according to an initial police account.

The German-Ukrainian association Cross-Blue-Yellow initiated the gathering. "We perceive this not merely as an Ukraine issue, but as pertaining to all of Europe. The federal administration must settle the funding dispute for aid and supply Ukraine with all necessities to emerge victorious in the war," stated Sviatoslav Marynin belonging to the Cross-Blue-Yellow association to the German Press Agency.

"Since the inception of the conflict, we've been forwarding medical assistance and ambulances to Ukraine and intend to carry on supporting them. The demand is substantial," Marynin concluded.

In light of this, the European Parliament might consider providing additional support to Ukraine, given the Commission's role of being assisted by the Parliament. After the gathering in Cologne, the Minister of Foreign Affairs suggested the need for EU aid to ensure Ukraine's victory in the war.
