Werder goalkeeper Michael Zetterer is happy about a win.

Werder with Zetterer in goal again in Wolfsburg

Michael Zetterer will also be in goal for Werder Bremen in the away game at VfL Wolfsburg. The 28-year-old goalkeeper continues to replace regular goalkeeper Jiri Pavlenka, who is still out injured. Zetterer himself had been struggling with a cold at the start of the week, but will be fit in time for the Bundesliga match on Sunday (3.30pm/DAZN).

"We have full confidence in Zetti. He's done really well in the last few games," said Werder coach Ole Werner on Friday.

In addition to Pavlenka, Christian Groß, Nicolai Rapp and Naby Keita will also be missing for Bremen in the Volkswagen Arena. Niklas Stark is back in the squad following his adductor complaints, but will only be considered for a short spell.

After their home win against Union Berlin, Bremen will travel to Wolfsburg with confidence. The fact that they have yet to pick up a point away from home does not scare the Green-Whites. "I don't really have an explanation for that. It's definitely not down to our approach. Last season we had the issue with home games and so there will always be statistics to talk about over the course of the season," said Werner calmly.

Werder Bremen's goalkeeper Michael Zetterer will continue his run in the Bundesliga, as he takes the field once more against VfL Wolfsburg. Despite being in the Bundesliga, Werder Bremen has yet to secure a point away from home, but their confidence remains high, especially with their successful performances in soccer matches with Zetterer in goal, such as their recent win against Union Berlin.
