German national league - Werder Bremen renews agreement with striker Njinmah

SV Werder Bremen has signed striker Justin Njinmah to a premature contract extension. Clemens Fritz, head of professional football at the Bundesliga club, commented on the move, "We still believe there's more development ahead for him, and he has loads of potential." The length of the contract wasn't mentioned in the club statement.

The 23-year-old played in 26 games for Bremen the previous year, managing to score six goals and contribute two assists. Midway through the previous campaign, Njinmah took an extended break due to illness and injury. Coach Ole Werner shows faith in the young striker's continued development, "We're confident in his ability to keep improving."
