Finances - Weil calls for clarity after traffic light agreement on the budget
Even after the agreement of the traffic light coalition on a federal budget for 2024, Lower Saxony's Minister President Stephan Weil still sees many unanswered questions. The SPD politician said in Hanover on Wednesday that it was not yet possible to say what exactly would happen in important areas. "This concerns, for example, the announced cuts in the ministries. Above all, the environment, employment and transport have been mentioned." Weil called for clarity.
"In positive terms, it is good that we will now have proposals that we can talk about for the time being, which is certainly better than having a big problem in the room and everyone standing around with big question marks," said the Minister President. Weil emphasized that the development of the hydrogen economy in Lower Saxony should - it seems - be implemented as planned.
