Weidel criticism directs towards Ampel's total failure - Scholz issues caution against AfD influence
Alice Weidel criticized the current federal administration and its predecessors for promoting a migration-friendlypolicy, which she believes has led to societal division. According to her, the leaders of these administrations have adopted a fail-proof migration policy for years and decades, refusing rational solutions and instead fostering divisions.
Weidel called for swift, strong actions to halt immigration. She proposed implementing a rigorous pause on immigration, admissions, and naturalization; a total halt to migrant influx for at least five years; the prompt expulsion of all unlawful immigrants and offenders; and the elimination of all incentives for social welfare associated with migration.
Weidel addressed Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD), who began his speech with harsh criticisms of the AfD. Scholz declared that the AfD is detrimental to our country. If the AfD gains influence, he warned, our country will falter.
Scholz described the AfD's performance in the state elections in Saxony and Thuringia as disheartening. He pledged to work towards diminishing the significance of the AfD in Germany, stating that it portrays an outdated image of humans and women.
Scholz explicitly labeled the AfD as harmful for our country, implying that their influence could negatively impact Germany. Weidel, despite Scholz's criticism, remains a prominent figure in the AfD and continues to advocate for stricter immigration policies.
