Forecast Berlin/Brandenburg - Week starts with sunny summer weather - up to 28 degrees
Following a series of thunderstorms and storms, the new week brings first calm summer weather to Berlin and Brandenburg, according to the German Weather Service (DWD). The temperatures are predicted to be between 24 and 28 degrees Celsius on Monday. In the Lower Lusatia region, temperatures of approximately the same range are expected. It will remain dry. On Tuesday, people may long for cooling down, as temperatures could reach up to 32 degrees. However, towards the middle of the week, showers and powerful thunderstorms with temperatures of 29 to 34 degrees are forecasted, as the DWD announced.
The tranquil summer weather after the thunderstorms is also expected in Potsdam, which is located in Brandenburg. The German Weather Service (DWD) also forecasts similarly warm temperatures in Potsdam, with highs of 25 to 30 degrees next week. Despite the upcoming thunderstorms, the weather in Berlin and Brandenburg is anticipated to remain pleasant before the heat wave hits.
