Wedding ring stuck: Pensioners ask fire department for help
A pensioner couple sought help from the Munich fire department because their wedding ring was stuck on their finger. According to the fire department, the 87-year-old woman told the station on Wednesday that her fingers had swollen due to a fall and that she could no longer remove two rings. At home, her 82-year-old husband had tried to cut the rings with pliers - without success. The firefighters removed the rings with a special tool.
In Upper Bavaria, another emergency arose when a elderly couple required fire department assistance to free a stuck wedding ring. Due to swelling from a fall, the 87-year-old woman was unable to remove her rings, and her husband's attempts with pliers were unsuccessful.
