Weather service warns of heat in Saxony-Anhalt

Temperatures of around 30 degrees are forecast for Wednesday and Thursday. Meteorologists advise avoiding the heat as much as possible.

Weather - Weather service warns of heat in Saxony-Anhalt

The German Weather Service warns people in Sachsen-Anhalt of heat. Temperatures are expected to reach up to 31 degrees on Wednesday, meteorologists announced. The heat warning applies to the Weather Service until Thursday evening. People are advised to drink enough water and try to stay cool.

At the same time, meteorologists are warning of showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday evening. On Thursday afternoon, strong rain and hail may occur. Temperatures remain around 30 degrees on Thursday as well, summer heat.

In Saxony-Anhalt, weather conditions may change drastically: a heat warning remains active until Thursday evening, with temperatures potentially reaching 31 degrees. However, meteorologists predict showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday evening, escalating to strong rain and hail on Thursday afternoon.
