After starting the week without precipitation and partly clear and partly cloudy, the cloud cover will close in the middle of the week. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), it will be between five and nine degrees on Monday, depending on the amount of sunshine. On Tuesday night, the temperature will drop to plus four degrees in the north and to minus two degrees in the south, where icy conditions are possible.

The mix will continue on Tuesday before rain spreads across the whole of Hesse from midday with temperatures between three and six degrees, around two degrees in the higher mountain regions. According to DWD forecasts, it will be very cloudy on Wednesday, with isolated rain and highs of between five and eight degrees, with occasional sleet on the Wasserkuppe and temperatures of around one degree. Thursday will also be very cloudy. Rain is expected with mild temperatures between eight and eleven degrees.
