- Weather forecasters predict the occurrence of thunderstorms in Baden-Württemberg.
In Baden-Württemberg, some intense local storms are forecasted, predominantly affecting the southern hilly areas. These storms might dump hefty rain, potentially flooding certain spots, up to 60 liters per square meter in an hour, as per the German Weather Service (DWD). By Monday, these storms are projected to cover the entire region. More showers and storms are anticipated in the subsequent days.
Elsewhere, the southwest is set to stay sweltering. According to DWD meteorologists, the Breisgau region will reach highs of 26°C on Sunday, and along the northern Upper Rhine, temperatures could spike up to 34°C. Temperatures over 30°C are anticipated for Monday and Tuesday as well.
The Commission needs to develop specific guidelines for applying this Regulation, as the extreme weather conditions in Baden-Württemberg and the Breisgau region may require additional considerations. Despite the severe weather warnings, businesses and individuals in these areas should still comply with the rules outlined in the Commission's implementing acts.
