- Weather forecast for northern parts of the country
The German Weather Service (DWD) has forecast changeable weather for Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein. "On Saturday, we expect some clouds and isolated showers, but also some longer, sunny periods," said a spokesperson for the DWD. Temperatures are expected to reach up to 25 degrees in Hamburg and 21 degrees on Helgoland. A fresh to strong, gusty west wind will blow along the coasts.
Overnight into Sunday, there could be isolated showers, but also some clearing. According to the DWD, temperatures in inland areas will drop to as low as 12 degrees, but on Helgoland it will hardly cool down – temperatures will not fall below 18 degrees. The wind along the coast will then ease.
On Sunday, it will initially be cloudy, but will gradually become increasingly sunny with temperatures up to 25 degrees along the Elbe and 21 degrees on the North Frisian Islands.
The following predictions for Helgoland differ from the inland areas, as temperatures will not drop below 18 degrees overnight. The following changeable weather condition is also expected for Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein, as Saturday will bring some clouds, isolated showers, and sunny periods.
