Weather conditions: FC Bayern postpones public training session

Following the heavy snowfall at the weekend, FC Bayern has postponed the public training session originally scheduled for Tuesday (10.30 am). The fans of the German soccer record champions will now be able to admire captain Manuel Neuer & Co. in action on Sunday (10.30 am) at Säbener Straße.

Soccer - Weather conditions: FC Bayern postpones public training session

Following the heavy snowfall at the weekend, FC Bayern has postponed the public training session originally scheduled for Tuesday (10.30 am). The fans of the German soccer record champions will now be able to admire captain Manuel Neuer & Co. in action on Sunday (10.30 am) at Säbener Straße.

The reason given by Munich on Monday was "the continuing wintry weather conditions", which could lead to an excessive risk of injury for visitors. Accordingly, the access routes at Säbener Straße are not freely accessible and patches of ice have formed.

The winter chaos in Bavaria had already led to the cancellation of Munich's Bundesliga home match against 1. FC Union Berlin last Saturday. The match is expected to be rescheduled in January. The German Football League had announced that the match would be rescheduled as soon as possible.
