Crime - Weapons and weapon parts found in apartment
Police have seized several weapons and weapon parts during a search of an apartment in the district of Deggendorf. The investigators had become suspicious in the course of other investigations, as the police announced on Tuesday.
The weapons and weapon parts seized last Thursday are now to be examined by the State Office of Criminal Investigation. The public prosecutor's office and police are investigating on suspicion of criminal liability under the Weapons and War Weapons Control Act.
The police did not provide any further details on the number and type of weapons or the original investigation when asked.
