Before the Landau Regional Court, a trial for manslaughter begins on Wednesday (2:00 PM) against a 28-year-old defendant. The man is accused of obtaining a revolver for unknown reasons and firing several shots at a 37-year-old in Ranschbach (Southern Wine Route) in February. The victim died. According to the investigation, the defendant, who is of Syrian origin, encountered the man as he was going to his car. Several continuation dates are scheduled until the end of October.
