"We can do without Elon Musk"

Tech blogger Sascha Pallenberg has a different view of the tech world: he has lived and worked in Taiwan for many years. He doesn't think much of Tesla boss Elon Musk, but considers the billions in German subsidies for the chip industry to be "absolutely the right and good move", he says on "So techt Deutschland".

Sascha Pallenberg doesn't think much of badmouthing the billions invested in the chip industry in Germany. For him, this decision is the "absolutely right and good move", because the success of the so-called "Silicon Saxony" around Dresden is the best proof: "This is an economic miracle", says Pallenberg in the new episode of "So techt Deutschland".

Even more than a miracle for him is the development of artificial intelligence. "We are seeing a revolution in the way we interact with machines," predicts Pallenberg. For him, the most exciting development is the creation of a kind of AI platform economy in which "everyone will be able to build their own individual bots and offer them", he says.

On the other hand, Pallenberg doesn't have a good word to say about Tesla: "I believe that in the medium and long term, Tesla is a candidate that will not only have financial problems." In the new episode of "So techt Deutschland", Pallenberg tells us which technology he would like to see.

Sascha Pallenberg acknowledges the significance of the semiconductor industry in Germany, referring to the subsidies as a "good move" that has contributed to the success of the "Silicon Saxony" area. He also mentions Elon Musk's Tesla as a potential long-term financial struggle, contrasting it with his positive view of the German chip industry.

Furthermore, Pallenberg is optimistic about the future of artificial intelligence, envisioning a platform economy where individuals can create and sell their own AI bots. Despite his interest in AI, he does not seem to see Tesla as a promising investment in the long term.
