In Straubing, the water level measured 6.80 meters early on Friday morning, witnessing a decline but remaining considerably above the danger level 4. Reserved for a scenario where large-scale flooding of urban areas occurs or the water levels necessitate the implementation of water or dam weirs, level 4.

In Passau, a location subject to frequent flood warnings, the water level stood at 8.60 meters with a marginal dip but nonetheless soaring far above the severe warning level indicative of 8.50 meters.

The Donau's height continues to decrease along the upper section, even in Kelheim, where the water still substantially surpasses danger level 4.
