In the Ostalbkreis, Göppingen, and Rems-Murr-Kreis, the flood situation is very dire. Officials at the Interior Ministry shared this news with dpa on Monday morning. In some areas of Leintal within the Ostalbkreis, residents are being asked to leave their homes due to flooding. Uhingen and Ebersbach in Göppingen district are experiencing severe flooding which has led to evacuation of multiple buildings. Tensions are also high in the Rems-Murr-Kreis, as several communities are dealing with strong floods. A spokesperson cautioned that the situation is fluid and can change rapidly.
