A 38-year-old trash collector got maimed by a refuse truck in Rickenbach, which is under Waldshut's jurisdiction. As per the authorities, the guy suffered leg injuries and was airlifted to a medical facility.

The 54-year-old truck operator, responsible for the vehicle, had been reversing on a steep driveway prior to this incident. His 38-year-old companion was strolling beside the machine when, for unclear reasons, he tripped. The police stated that his legs became ensnared beneath the truck's wheels. The ongoing investigation aims to determine the precise reason for the unfortunate incident on a Wednesday.

The police were notified about the incident and are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident. After getting tripped, the trash collector's legs got stuck under the truck's wheels, as stated by the police.
