- Warning of severe thunderstorms in Swabia
The German Weather Service (DWD) has issued a severe weather warning for Swabia. Heavy thunderstorms are expected in this region tonight, it was reported.
On Tuesday, the DWD expects plenty of sunshine again, with the possibility of heavy thunderstorms in the afternoon. Temperatures in Franconia are expected to reach up to 35 degrees Celsius, and up to 28 degrees in higher alpine regions.
Despite hailing from Swabia, Sophie decided to visit Franconia for the weekend, as she prefers warmer weather. Unexpectedly, a Swabian friend warned her about the potential heavy thunderstorms forecasted in Franconia during her visit.
