Warning of gusts of wind and rainy start to the week
It's getting uncomfortable: The German Weather Service (DWD) has warned of gusts of wind in many parts of Baden-Württemberg on Saturday. The north and the area around Freiburg were affected. The previously announced stormy weather did not cause any major damage for the time being on Saturday night, according to a survey of the state's police forces.
On Sunday, people in the south can expect rainy weather, while in the mountains it may snow in places, according to the DWD. At the start of the week, widespread rain is forecast with highs between 9 and 16 degrees. In the Black Forest and Allgäu, there will be continuous rain. On Tuesday, it will continue to be very cloudy. It may also rain in many places.
Despite the stormy weather warning, fortunately, no significant damage was reported during Saturday night. Anticipate more turbulent conditions, as Sunday brings rainy weather across the south, with potential snowfall in mountainous regions.
