Nutrition - Warning about olives in jars due to undeclared almonds
A Greek food company has issued a warning against the consumption of one of its products due to possibly undeclared almonds in olives. The 350-gram jars of "ZEUS green olives stuffed with garlic" with a best-before date of February 21, 2026 are affected, as the official portal "lebensmittelwarnung.de" announced on Thursday. The products were sold at Netto Marken-Discount stores in Bavaria. The warning is particularly relevant for almond allergy sufferers, as it cannot be ruled out that some of the jars may contain olives filled with almonds.
