Paul Wanner scored the 1. FC Heidenheim's next victory in preparation for the new season in the Bundesliga. With a 2:1 (0:1) win against Aris Limassol from Cyprus, the team of coach Frank Schmidt remains unbeaten. Wanner, on loan from FC Bayern Munich, scored twice (52'/84') in the friendly match during the training camp in Austria. In the first half, FCH fell behind after a goal by Jaden Montnor (17').

The team's final preparation match is the official season opener on August 10th at the Voith Arena. The opponent will be Espanyol Barcelona.

After securing a win against Aris Limassol in Limassol, FCH prepares for their next challenge. Their final training match before the new season will be against Espanyol Barcelona at the Voith Arena.
