3rd league - Waldhof supervisory board decides: Kompp must go

Criticized managing director Markus Kompp no longer has a future at third-division soccer club SV Waldhof Mannheim. The club's supervisory board unanimously decided not to extend his contract, which expires on June 30, 2025, the Mannheim club announced on Monday. It also stated that the board was "working intensively on a solution in the interests of all parties involved" to terminate the contract by mutual agreement at an earlier date.

Kompp has worked for SV Waldhof since 2016. Most recently, many fans loudly demanded Kompp's dismissal at the Mannheim club's general meeting.
