In the present scenario, the Thuringian coalition headed by Minister President Bodo Ramelow (Left) with a red-red-green majority no longer holds a majority. Upon post-election assessments, a potential government could emerge from the CDU, Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW), and SPD. The future of the current coalition in Saxony, comprising CDU, SPD, and Greens, remains uncertain. Kretschmer avoids dismissing a possible alliance with the BSW. Regarding the Left party in Saxony, there's a looming risk of disappearing from parliamentary presence. The same predicament may confront the Greens and FDP in Thuringia as well.

The Thuringian Landtag, currently under the control of the coalition led by Minister President Bodo Ramelow, faces potential changes with the CDU, BSW, and SPD considering an alliance. The CDU's leader in Saxony, Kretschmer, has been cautious about dismissing a potential alliance with the BSW.
