Volleyball: Schwerin celebrates clear victory in Vilsbiburg

Volleyball: Schwerin celebrates clear victory in Vilsbiburg

SSC Palmberg Schwerin remains number one in the women's volleyball Bundesliga. On Saturday, the team of head coach Felix Koslowski won 3:0 (25:22, 25:16, 25:14) at the Rote Raben Vilsbiburg and thus celebrated their sixth victory in their sixth match. The cup winners also boosted their confidence for Wednesday's quarter-final clash with the same opponents.

However, the SSC still had a lot of trouble with the hosts in the first half. It was only in the final phase that the women from Mecklenburg gained a small lead and used their first set point to take a 1:0 lead.

The second set then turned into a clear affair, even though Vilsbiburg reduced the deficit to 11:12 in the meantime. In the end, the SSC had a total of ten set points. SSC remained focused in the third period, quickly pulled 15:5 ahead and made everything clear with the second of eleven match points.

The women's volleyball Bundesliga leaders, SSC Palmberg Schwerin, showcased their dominance in the Bundesliga once again with a 3:0 victory over Rote Raben Vilsbiburg in the Bundesliga. Despite facing challenges in the first half, SSC Palmberg Schwerin, renowned from Schwerin, managed to secure their place in the Women's Volleyball Bundesliga and prepare for an upcoming quarter-final clash against Rote Raben Vilsbiburg in the cup competition.
