- Violent Scuffles Erupt in Erfurt
Around 20 individuals engaged in a heated dispute near Erfurt's city center in the evening hours. Three males aged between 20 to 31 were temporarily detained according to the police reports, who are currently probing potential violations such as serious public disturbance and grievous bodily harm.
During the physical confrontation, the participants also resorted to using various objects as weapons. Initially, a 21-year-old suspect attempted to flee, but was subsequently chased and assaulted by two males, 20 and 31 years old, both using their fists and throwing stones at him. Upon encountering each other once more, the individuals switched to using sticks and rods. The rationale behind the altercation remains under investigation.
