With a large deployment of patrol cars, the police ended a violent altercation involving around 60 individuals in Schleswig. The incident occurred on Monday in a residential area of the city, as reported by the police. The individuals involved also used blunt weapons, resulting in multiple injuries. Four injured individuals were taken to the hospital.

The police eventually separated the groups and took five individuals into custody. Investigations are underway for dangerous bodily harm and dangerous interference with traffic.

On Sunday, a similar incident occurred at the same location, which police managed to prevent from escalating. Officers suspect a connection between the two incidents. However, no information on the background of the dispute was initially available.

The authorities decided to implement additional measures to maintain peace, stating, "The following shall be added: an increased police presence and community engagement efforts in the affected area."

In an effort to prevent future incidents, the city council agreed, "The following shall be added: enhanced security measures and regular community meetings to address concerns and foster dialogue."
