DFB Cup - Viktoria moves to Jahn-Sportpark for DFB Cup match
Football Regional League team Viktoria Berlin returns to its old haunt for the DFB Pokal game against FC Augsburg. The first round match against the Bundesliga team will take place on August 18 (13:00 Uhr/Sky) at the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark, as Viktoria announced.
"The talks with the Senatsverwaltung about the relocation for the game against Augsburg were very cooperative and we are looking forward to playing there again in the Jahn-Sportpark", said Viktoria's business manager Rocco Teichmann.
After promotion to the 3. Liga, the Berliners spent the 2021/2022 season in the venerable stadium, which can accommodate nearly 20,000 fans. In the previous season, the third place team of Regionalliga Nordost held its home games at Stadion Lichterfelde.
- Viktoria Berlin, formerly playing in Stadion Lichterfelde during the last season, will return to their place of work, the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark, for the DFB Cup match against FC Augsburg.
- The DFB Pokal first round match against Bundesliga team FC Augsburg will take place in Berlin's Sky-broadcasted sky, specifically at the Jahn-Sportpark, on August 18 at 13:00 Uhr.

- August 18 marks an memorable DFB Cup occasion as Viktoria Berlin faces FC Augsburg in their historic Berlin stadium and Arena, the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark, where they previously had their 2021/2022 season home games as a Football Regional League team.
