Vienna once again named the "most liveable" city in the world
The assessment of the overall 173 evaluated cities is based on numerous criteria in the areas of Stability, Healthcare System, Culture and Environment, Education, and Infrastructure. Vienna as the winner received a full point in each of the categories Stability, Healthcare Services, Education, and Infrastructure. The Austrian capital has already been named the most livable city in 2022 and 2023.
Canada placed fourth in the worldwide rankings, excelling in the areas of Stability, Healthcare System, Culture and Environment, and Infrastructure. Melbourne, Australia, ranked second, sharing comparable strengths with Vienna and Calgary, another city in Canada, which also performed well. Switzerland, specifically Zurich, also ranked highly in the evaluation, showcasing its strong points in Education. Copenhagen, Denmark, another top contender, also shone in the Education category. Despite Austria's dominance, Canada, Australia, and other cities like Zurich and Copenhagen continue to contribute significantly to the global discussion on the 'most livable' cities.
