VfL Osnabrück has committed Marcus Müller

Striker Marcus Müller joins third-division side VfL Osnabrück. Just ahead of the DFB Cup game against SC Freiburg, the 21-year-old from 1. FSV Mainz 05's second team joins VfL, as announced by the club on Wednesday. "He's a classic striker with good positioning and presence in the box," said VfL's sporting director Philipp Kaufmann.

Müller was born in Augsburg, where he played through various youth clubs to reach the youth academy of Bundesliga side FC Augsburg. Last year, he moved to the second team of Bundesliga side Mainz 05.

Müller's time at Mainz 05's second team allowed him to hone his skills as a striker in soccer matches. Following his departure, he joined VfL Osnabrück to strengthen their attacking line in soccer.
